Kristin Hazelwood | Owner, Creative Director
Kristin Hazelwood is the owner and creative director of Hazelwood Paper Co., a luxury wedding stationery and event branding studio founded in 2013. After graduating from the University of Texas at Arlington with a degree in fine art, Kristin spent six years working as a graphic designer for a communications firm, creating work for a variety of corporate clients. Shortly after getting married, she began designing wedding stationery on the side. As Hazelwood Paper Co. continued to grow, she eventually made the leap from balancing two careers to running the studio full-time.
Kristin brings both creativity and an extremely detail-oriented approach to every project. A self-professed lover of timelines and checklists, she has developed a streamlined design process that makes creating highly customized stationery and event details feel as seamless as possible for her couples. Her work spans custom wedding invitations, specialty printing, dimensional paper design, signage and cohesive event branding for weddings nationwide.
What she loves most, however, is creating something completely unique to each couple—pieces that not only help tell their story and shape the visual identity of their celebration, but ultimately become a small part of one of the most meaningful days of their lives.
Kristin has been happily married for twelve years and is the mother of a nine-year-old brain cancer survivor. Because of her family’s experience, pediatric cancer research and organizations that support families with a child battling cancer are especially close to her heart. When she isn't designing or spending time with her family, Kristin can usually be found reading or staying active.

Adreanna Buckles | Senior Designer
I began as an intern at Hazelwood Paper Co., and after I graduated with a BFA in Design and Visual Communications I excitedly joined the team full-time. With a keen eye for design, a love of organization and a head full of fresh ideas, being able to work with couples as they design their wedding day is the ultimate way for me to apply my skills. I live in Georgia, where my officemates are my loving boyfriend Mike and our kitten, Maisy. In my spare time I enjoy gaming and cooking.
Chiky Sierra | Designer
Most of my career, I worked as a marketing professional within the hospitality industry. After a few years I decided to take a sabbatical year. During this year, I discovered my love for the world of graphic design. After uncovering that artistic side, I’ve since been creating monograms, crests, and other wedding-related art for Hazelwood Paper Co. I’m bit of a Nomad — born in Indonesia, I’ve lived in Malaysia, Singapore, Dubai, and Cape Town, and now I am back in my home country and living in Bali, Indonesia. I love exploring places and trying various cuisines, and when I’m not designing, I’m out and about!
Julia Risunki | Illustrator + Water Color Artist
Hello, I'm Julia, a master's engineer by education, but my passion for drawing has transformed into my beloved profession. I take delight in crafting personalized illustrations spanning various styles. My absolute favorite moment is witnessing the finished photos from the wedding with my illustrations. Beyond my creative work, my heart beats for animals, which holds a special place in my life, they fuels my inspiration.

Honestly, Kristin at Hazelwood Paper Co. was absolutely fantastic. I was moving to England to have our wedding and she accommodated my fiance and me so well with shipping, postage, and international delivery. Kristin created a custom sized invitation (square rather than rectangle), RSVPs that was perforated so that the guests could tear it off and post it back to us, a vellum overlay that was a gorgeous contrast to the custom designed backing to the vellum. Between the custom shape of the invitations and international postage, she was a life saver. Overall, Kristin was fantastic. I would 100% recommend her, and if I could give 10 stars I would. The invitations were absolutely beautiful and had all of our friends and family excited for the wedding!
